Join us July 26th (10:30-Noon) to learn the basics of using your smartphone and Facebook page! We can help you set up a Facebook account, invite people to be ‘friends’ and make sure your security settings maintain your privacy. AIPRC’s own Suzy and Mary Ann are leading this hands-on workshop. You’ll have lots of time to ask questions and practice your new skills.
Learn to play this fun, challenging game. Mah Jongg was developed by the Chinese and uses tiles in different “suits” similar to card games such as gin rummy. Our own advisory board member, Carol Peschel, is teaching the class, starting from the very basics.

After ten weeks of diverse and enlightening programs created by the National Council on Aging, our class graduated the Aging Mastery Program with honors! Informative workshops on topics such as Healthy Eating, Falls Prevention, Medication Management and Financial Planning round out this terrific program. It was Aging in Paradise’s second year working with the National Council on Aging and The Patterson Foundation to bring AMP to Longboat Key.
