Thank you to everyone who joined us for Aging in Paradise Resource Center’s (AIPRC) Enchanted Paradise Gala! It was a heavenly evening at the beautiful Lido Beach Resort. There are so many caring people and organizations to thank, but I must start by thanking our incredibly generous sponsors like Arnold Simonsen, who was again a top sponsor for our Gala. And, what can I say about our amazing Gala Committee headed by Inge Boudreau and Michelle Giannico? They, with the hardest working and most creative Gala Committee ever made it a night to remember – thank you Beverley Albertson, Tom Aposporos, Mary Ann Brady, Suzy Brenner, Barbara Koetsier, Vicki Lyons, Julie Mailliard, Martha Miller, Dick Pelton and Carol Peschel – and a special thank you to Larry Steagall for offering his exceptional talents as our photographer; to Virginia Steagall for assisting in the registration area; and to Betty Jo and Fred Haas for their fantastic job with the 50/50!
I would also like to thank our inspiring Aging in Paradise Advisory Board Co-Chairs, Richard Pelton and Barbara Koetsier, who working with our talented and supportive Advisory Board, and our incredibly professional and caring staff, Mary Ann Brady and Suzy Brenner, brought you almost 300 diverse AIPRC programs, services and events in 2016!
I cherish each and every one of you and I thank all of you for helping AIPRC continue to provide quality solutions and exciting opportunities for local seniors, enabling them to live with dignity and the highest possible level of health, independence and quality of life.
